Aptos Pool Equipment Replaced in Vandalized Bank Repo

We got a call from a real estate agent responsible for selling a beautiful Aptos, CA home that had gone into foreclosure.

As sad as seeing an empty, dirty pool is, even worse was the fact that while the house sat vacant the pool was vandalized.

The room that housed the swimming pool equipment was broken into, the pool pump filter and related equipment were stolen, the controls ripped right off the walls.

We got to work to bring this pool back to its former glory.

First we installed a new electrical sub panel and time clock to run the new pool equipment.

Next we had do some digging! We  had to excavate the concrete to get to the pipes the vandals had cut off. Then we had to identify the pipes, which we did with a CO2 compressed gas pressure tank.

Since this home was a restoration and to be resold, we were asked to give the pool the best filtration system that would operate at the least expense. That is our specialty.

We installed a High Flow low Horsepower pump along with a Quad D.E. filter. The pump moves the equivalent of 1.5 H.P. worth of water with each revolution and uses the power of a 1/2 H.P. pump. This new swimming pool filter will give 100 sq. ft. of filtration area and keep the pool crystal clean for years to come.

And when no one’s looking I’ve seen the sales agent swimming. Ssshhhh! (OK, this isn’t really the sales agent–but we don’t want to get ’em in trouble, now do we?)
